Founded in 1987, ProCare Institute has become well-respected as a training institution in the health care sector. Over the years, ProCare has established a solid reputation for our standards of excellence and our innovative approach to health care education. Focussing solely on health care training, ProCare is able to adapt to the ever-changing needs of health care by implementing leading edge methodology.
In 1993, ProCare initiated the first Health Care Assistant Program to be conducted on-site in a Long Term Care Facility. The concept proved to be so successful that it is now implemented throughout ProCare's training areas.
The benefits to the students are immeasurable. By providing students with facility-based training, students are given relevant, sequential learning in the workplace. In addition, they are able to utilize the knowledge gained in the classroom within a practical application. As well, they have the support and guidance of their instructor, who is on site with them at all times.
This arrangement also benefits the facilities, as management is able to become familiar with the students and their capabilities, providing them with the opportunity to screen potential employees. It is no coincidence that ProCare's graduates enjoy an employment rate of over 98%.
ProCare's program get students thoroughly trained and into the workplace within six-months, and with ongoing class start dates in all of our training areas, prospective students do not have to contend with long wait times before starting their classes.
ProCare's Director and all instructional staff are experienced nurses.
